IDEA - STEP -1:

Choose the most striking headline from your local news (paper or other media) within last 30 days.



INSTALATION - STEP -2:

Present the news item in the form of an installation (large size)



ARCHITECTURE - STEP -3:

Use this installation as a formal concept to design a MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION CENTRE, for the city.



LOCATION:

The site of the design project must be in the most prominent part of the city/town or it could be in the most difficult or controversial part of the city.



The site must be real, however you may intervene hypothetically

-All final drawings are required to be submitted to the host college on the first day of the convention itself.

-No extra time will be given to the participant colleges to finish the drawings (rendering) during the convention.

-A panel size of 6'X 8' would be provided to the colleges to display their sheets and now form of overlapping of sheets would be allowed.

-A maximum of 4 A1's are allowed for the submission.

-Choose suitable scale for design and presentation.

-Provide proof of the news item.

-Provide installation photographs.

-Provide real site photographs.

-Any layout on the panel is allowed but the college has to make sure that the above mentioned specifications are adhered.

-Only two people other than the U-Sec would be allowed inside the jury room for handling and pinning up of sheets.
